Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Review
Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse sophisticated big sister
If you have oily skin in need of frequent touch-ups & your pores periodically show-up to greet you throughout the day, then The Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Podwer is the 1 skin product made for you.
I grabbed it at Sephora thinking it was the foundation everyone was raving about on Tiktok, but to my surprise it was one of the many products in The Yummy Skin line, all equally rave-worthy.
The packaging is heavy and comes with a scoop to scoop out the putty-like satisfying balm, although I do find myself dipping directly into the product with my brush. The balm to powder finish is reminiscent of the iconic Maybelline Dream Mousse. However, this elevated refined version applies smoothly, filling in every pore without clinging on to dry texture.
Imperceptible once on, the only hint anything has been applied on the skin is the blur and velvetness of its texture. This is one of the products I found myself grabbing everyday of the summer as it freed me of the growing anxiety of progressively turning shinier during the day. It was even my go-to for beach days, where it stood the test of waves and 90 degree weather, fading naturally into my tan by the end of the evening.
Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy skin blurring Balm Podwer needs no primer or setting powder, but is so weightless it can be used as a mattifying /smoothing base for the days you are going for a full glam!
Winning title: The most skin-like skin product of 2024.
